In March the troop attended the Alpine NJ scout camp Cook-O-Ree. The scouts started the day with various hands-on cooking classes, where scouts learned how to prepare a variety of different meals, while also learning food safety, nutrition, knife skills, etc. After the classes, our scouts were able to apply their new skills while competing in a camp wide iron-chef style cook-off and other food related competitions.

Our troop had a great week at FSR summer camp.  Join us for this and more high adventures outdoors!  (Walking on water via the rope bridge optional.)

We know everyone had a great summer and we look forward to seeing new and existing members at a meeting as the school year restarts.  With the cooler weather another year of scouting restarts with our meetings at Indian Hill School on Tuesdays 7:30pm!  First meeting is 9/19/23.  Please stop in if you have interest in learning more about scouting and the doors it opens for you.  For those looking for outdoor activities, we are going to hit the ground running with a 1 night camping trip on 9/16 at Camp Ockanickon, then the next outing is on Treasure Island!
